Recommended food in Phnom Penh
Well, what more interesting than food to start with in each country for you to understand the culture. In Cambodia, the food is the mixture between, Thai and Vietnamese cousin. People seem to not pay much attention to Cambodian cousin at all. However, if you know what the local is eating everyday you might change your mind about the food in our country. Well, I will recommended some food for you so that you can get a taste of Cambodia.
1. Kuy Teav (noodle soup): noodle soup is a commend food that local would eat, either for breakfast or lunch. There are many places sale noodle soup in Cambodia but the most delicious one in town, you could find in the normal fish market.... they are fast, cheap and taste greatly out of this world..... if you go to Cambodia that what you should try 100%.
2. Bay srob (Rice with grill or fry meat): this is normally eat for breakfast, you could find it everywhere in Cambodia from the street vender to the restaurant. People love to eat this because it can help to full fill them longer and taste bloody good.

3. Bor Bor (blood cake soup): This is a very tasteful and interesting kind of soup, the main ingredient of the soup is rice.... this is a really healthy food, you got to try it
4. Ah mok: this is a steam fish dish, Cambodian style..... tasted similar to curry but have a kick of original flavor of brohok. This one is my favourite food.
5. Ah ping (spider): this is a famous snack food in Cambodia, well not many people dare to eat it. But if you visit Cambodia, at least give it once try, it is tasty and cheap as well
Well, there are heap more yummy food out there in Cambodia. Everywhere you turn there food, and friendly people. My advice is to eat whatever you see the local eat cos that the best place for tasty food...... I will give out more information in my next post. Thank for reading my post.... Market in Phnom Penh
Beside traveling, Phnom Penh also is a good place for traveller to shop for cheap and valuable things. I will listed market that the local normally go to shop below:
1. Central market
You can shop for food, cloth, shoes, gift and everything in this market. But I would recommended for you to find good food there, because there are many local food in this market.
2. TTP market
This market sell everything from clothing to food just like central market, but I would recommend for you to shop for cheap clothing and gift to bring back to your country in this market.
3. Sorya Supper Market
This is a good place for western food, and cooling down because it has air conditioner.
Well there are many more markets in Cambodia, but this three is on my top list for visitor.

Phnom Penh is the capital of cambodia. Phnom Penh is where the urban population live or in other word khmer people usually said the rich live. Phnom Penh is the centre of people, full of colors, foods, fashion and everything. However, there are interesting places that traveller could visit in Phnom Penh as well. I will tell you about each place I would recommend for traveller to definitely visit if they go to Phnom Penh.
1. the Riverside
I would recommend you to visit this place at night because there will be more people, a lot of bars and snack food around the area and the view is so beautiful as well.
2. The Royal Palace
This is where the king live, there are many traditional and beautiful thing to see inside this place.. must go
3. Toul Sleang Museam
This is a high school turned in to prison and kill nealy 2/3 of Cambodian population during the Khmer Rough Regime. Incase you haven't heard about it, Khmer Rough is the most scary regime in Cambodian history.
This is the top 3 places I would recommended for visitor to 100% visit if they go to Cambodia. However, there are of cause many other places to visit in Cambodia and you can find it in my new post.

About the blog
I create this blog to tell you about my hometown Cambodia, where to visit, what to buy, and the best food to eat. I know most of the traveller who visit Cambodia only been shown the place that most visitor would visit and thy only do thing that most visitors would do. However, in my opinion if you want to have fun and experience different thing, I think you should do the thing that the local do, shop at where the local shop and eat the food that the local normally eat. In my blog I will tell you all about my experiences in my hometown.
Now I'm going to tell you a bit about Cambodia:
Cambodia has a land area of 181,035 square kilometers. Cambodia is also known as Kingdom of Wonder, it is in South East Asia and located between Vietnam and Thailand. This country is one of the oldest countries in South East Asia. Cambodia’s climate is like the rest of Southeast Asia countries, it is dominated by monsoons. The average temperature in the country is between 21 to 35 co. About 50% of population in Cambodia live based on agriculture, therefore many green rice field in the country.
Now I'm going to tell you a bit about Cambodia:
